| I'm Looking For The Latest Updates? | A. There are three different methods used for letting xSitePro Community members know of updates to this site. The first (and one I recommend) is checking the 'Blog' feature available by clicking on the link in the top menu. The second, is by subscribing to out 'Newsletter', and the third, which is useful if your are in a hurry, is to check out the scrolling image box displayed in most of the sites pages (right hand panel). This displays the last five templates. |
| If I Buy xSitePro Via Your Link, Can I Get More Discount? | A: Let's be honest here..... If you buy xSitePro through my affiliate link, I receive $49.25 in commission. If you then ask me to offer you a months free membership (or a similar deal) for doing so - sorry the answer is no. Why? Work it out.... I gain $49.25 but loose $34.97, which means for all my work, and giving you access to $1000's of templates I receive - $14.98??? |
| Import Failed: Invalid File Format | A: If you receive an error message "Import Failed: Invalid File Format" or similar when importing a template, or, the copied files do not show up in xSitePro as a new template to choose. The most likely cause is that you are using a version of xSitePro that is older than the version the template was generated with. The solution? Open the instructions text provided with the template, inside you see a line (similar to - ** This template was designed and built using xSitePro Version 1.53a - If you experience any problems please ensure your version is updated to the latest on available **) Then click on 'Help' -> 'About' in xSitePro and compare your version number to the one in the instructions file. If your version is less, then you need to update xSitePro to enable everything to work correctly. |
| Is Standard Membership Free? | A: Sure is - 100% FREE, with no catches, no email squeezing..... nothing! There are two main reasons for requiring users to sign up: (1) I need to be able to track your orders, provide you with a shopping cart etc.. (2) Hand on heart.... I want to know how popular the community is, this drives me to provide more content, services etc.. Important: Subscribing membership (access to all templates) is available for a low monthly subscription |
| Just Became a Subscribing Member Where Is My Welcome Email? | A: All registered members who then choose to take advantage of our monthly subscription membership are, upon receipt of payment confirmation from Pay Pal upgraded manually. Once I receive the confirmation of payment from Pay Pal, I log into xSitePro Community, locate your user name and upgrade you to that of subscribing member - allowing you access to our downloads section. Sometimes I have problems locating members... the main two reasons are: - Some users, press the subscription - but forgot to join as a free registered member first. Therefore I am unable to locate their user name as there isn't one for me to upgrade.
- A lot of members register with one email address and then subscribe via Pay Pal using a different one. This causes me a lot of delay as I have to either email to confirm the user name used, or sort through the system to try and find the correct member.
Once I have located you, your account is upgraded and a 'Welcome' email forwarded to the Pay Pal email address that was used for the subscription. I try to do this as quickly as possible... normally within 12 hours, but definitely within 24. |
| Limited Downloads | A: Some templates (mainly Full Content) are limited editions. This means that only a fixed number of purchases / downloads are permitted. Once the limit is reached, the download is automatically removed. As limited downloads are very popular, please check xSitepro Community frequently for new additions. If the template / web site is a limited edition it will be indicated in the 'more info' option. Once they are gone... they are gone! Sorry, the idea of 'limited' is exactly that, so please do not email me asking for a copy - you've got to be quick here ;) |
| My Email Was Not Answered | A: Whilst I try to answer every email I receive, please understand that I receive literally hundreds and hundreds of email each and every day. Like you and most others, many sometimes they end up in my SPAM filter, sometime due to the mass they are overlooked. To ensure 'your' enquiry, support request or question is answered. A 'Help Desk' system is provided here at xSitePro Community. The system generates a help ticket, sends you a confirmation (including when a reply is made) and more importantly sends me an email that I know will not get caught up in my SPAM filters. The system is database driven, which also means that everything is backed up to a database should my PC or anything else fail... The result, a better, more accurate system for you to use :) |
| Problems With a Downloaded File Name? | A: The system operates a 'bulk' and 'single file' upload, not knowing that doing a 'bulk' upload affects the file name - many of the files have been bulk uploaded by me. What this does is it misses the extension name off the end of the file - to fix this is very easy.... simply download as normal then rename the file adding .zip to the end of it :) Sorry if this caused any confusion. |
