Important - Subscriptions and CancellationTo avoid confusion, please let me try and explain how the current subscription system works. Payments: When you subscribe to xSitePro Community you are agreeing to a 30 day recurring payment (hence it is called a subscription). All payments are conducted via Pay Pal - who upon receipt credit the amount received to my account. To clarify.... I have no control over the charging for subscriptions, it is a fully managed service conducted by Pay Pal. It is Pay Pal Who seek payment from your Bank or Credit Card company, then upon receipt forward payment to my account. The process is a simple one - Pay Pal charge you.... They then forward payment to me.... If payment cannot be made for any reason, Pay Pal notify me and then try again a further two times. If they fail to process the subscription a third time 'THEY' cancel your subscription. Again for clarification as I have had the odd person sign up and think that I actually bill them... Pay Pal fully manage the subscription service seeking payment every 30 days, then payment received notify me and deposit the subscription into my account. Cancellation: As clearly stated with the FAQ and other locations - I do NOT cancel subscriptions. It is your money - you should be responsible for looking after it. If as a subscribing member you wish to cancel - no problem.... I have outlined the process here in the FAQ (it only takes a minute or so to cancel via Pay Pal). But do not place the responsibility on my shoulder.... To clarify. If you wish to cancel your subscription, please log on to Pay Pal locate the transaction, click on it and then choose cancel. Pay Pal will then stop charging your 30 days subscription and notify me via email accordingly. Upon receipt of the notification from Pay Pal that you have cancelled. Your status is returned to that of a 'Registered User' immediately. And access to the subscribing members area / downloads withdrawn. This method has been practiced since xSitePro Community opened and has for the greater part been fully understood and accepted by 99.9999% subscribers. For the small % who do not understand this practice, I will try to clarify it. Currently all new subscribing members are allowed access to the previous files and templates uploaded (thousands of $$'s worth) - Without additional charge. The only condition being placed, that when a subscriber cancels - no refunds in full or part is offered. I.E Lets be fair... I never stop any subscriber having access to previous uploads, or only granted preadmission to files uploaded from the date they subscribed..... Yet, despite this, I still get the odd subscriber who still feels that having downloaded thousands of $$ worth of templates, I should further repay them a couple of days or whatever part is left of their subscription.... Sorry - To me this is selfish and greedy! If a subscriber feels this way, they should cancel on the day (or day before) Pay Pal charge them. Hopefully this clarifies things for everyone, if you need further help or information please read the FAQ section or ask via the Help Desk. |
